AS I WALK THRU FIELDS OF FLOWERS SO BRIGHT

Poem about solitary bees written by Jan ‏ (@shypixie76 on Twitter) for Solitary Bee Week 2019

As I walk thru fields of flowers so bright,

A solitary bee came into sight,

She weaves through grass, searching for nectar,

No sight at all could be any better.

We must ensure the solitary be,

Is always allowed to fly and be free,

For a world without bees is no world at all.

The blight of the bees cannot be ignored.
